Hi Tom, Varying heat is something we don’t promote enough. If you overheat your grill you dial it down and the GrillGrates follow very quickly. A big selling point to our Restaurant customers rather than leaving their grills hot all day long. #grillgrateful

Been a Grill Grate user on my old rectangular Weber for over ten years, but the original panels did not fill the whole surface, so they shifted or moved around whenever trying to flip the food. The new custom fitting tool gave me a set of panels with the gap panel that covered the surface completely. It fit so perfectly the panels allowed removal and complete replacement of the original grill surface as if custom made for me. This is so much better now that the surface fits so well, it no longer shifts around when using the tool to flip the food being grilled.
