Grillgrates are essential. Judging by the number of spatulas I have in my closet, I have ordered grillgrates at least a dozen times. I cook on wood, charcoal, pellets, propane, and electricity. I almost always use grillgrates. Now, my reason goes against the narrative. Grill marks are not important to me. And, while I believe that grillgrates limit flareups, rendered fats burns and I get plenty of flair ups. The reason I almost always use grillgrates is that they are easy to clean up. I have converted many of my grilling friends to grillgrates for the same reason. Nobody likes to clean up grease.

Order from grillgrate.com, their customer service is fantastic! We had some damage on the initial shipment. I called and left a message about it. Wendi called back the next business day and resolved everything. Top notch!! We decided to rebuild our Weber rather than trash and buy new, I am super glad with our decision. Installed new Burner tube kit from Weber, (Spirit E-215 PN#68949), new flavorizer bars, and the Grillgrates. Our grill performs better than new, and we kept the grill out of the landfill!
