I already have a set for my large big green egg, then for my birthday I got a mini max big green egg. I was worried how the grillgrates would fit but they are great. For dinner tonight I cooked a 4 pound spatchcock chicken and it fit perfectly. There was even room for a vadalia onion in foil. Love my grillgrates.

Replaced my cast iron grates. I am more impressed with grillgrates every time I fire up my grill.

I made the mistake of not reading all of the specs on this product. i thought I was ordering replacement grill grates. I have grates that I ordered to fit on my Weber 1000 already. The problem with them is it requires you to clean both the cast iron grate that comes with the Weber and the grill grates. Brad here- we do have a no questions asked return policy. GrillGrates do sit on top of the Q grids- but I would not expect the old grids to see much in the way of cleaning needs once you have GrillGrates on top. Replaced my original grates with these for my Char Griller Duo 5050 gas grill. After seasoning we did burgers. They came out perfect with no charing. The heat was much more even with this product. Definitely made my gas grill better than new. I did have to trim them to slope the fins back to prevent interference with the lid.

I'm sure the bag would be a great addition to someone who is going to transport the grates but for most of us they will remain on the grill. If a 'free' gift is given with order then I think the grate valley brush would be better idea and more useful to care for the grates. Maybe I can trade the bag in for the brush.....Oh Well it was a thought.

If you own a pellet grill these are a must have. I purchased two to test them out, then I purchased two more so I could cover the whole grill. The sear they put on meat is like what I get from a charcoal grill, but they don't dry out the meat nearly as much. I use them all the time.

You will never to back! I have three sets of these on different grills. Super improvement on all of them. They are particularly amazing w/ my pellet grill (turning it into a real GRILL). So buy these and you wont be dissapointed!

II will not grill without the grates anymore. Distribute the heat very well and meat grills evenly. Cleans very easy and the spatula is amaizing. Every grill I own is dressed up with the Grill Grates

Not only does the Grate Tool do an excellent job of managing the food on the Grillgrates, it does double duty when it comes time to scrape and clean out the valleys on the Grillgrates. Worth the purchase price by itself, and the fact they throw one in when you buy 2 Grillgrates is phenomenal.

Easy to install, easy to work with. We have had great results using these. The best part has been that they put an end to the hot zones and constant flair ups we were dealing with. Highly recommend these grates!

This is the 4th set I have bought all for different Grills. I couldn't imagine cooking without them. You will get the perfect grill marks every time. This set as the others fit perfectly.

I have only had this for one week so I do not feel comfortable to write a whole lot yet. I just have to agree with all the other write ups. I have cooked a whole chicken which I cut in half. Came out perfect and better than ever on my 18" AKORN green egg knock off fitting perfectly. Also did two NY steaks which too were perfect at medium rare and beautiful grill marks. Tonight will be pork chops and expect the same results. What could go wrong. As with any food timing is always critical. Not a walk away and forget as with a long cook. Flash cooking takes a watchful eye. The chicken took 25 minutes and the steaks 5 minutes following grillgrates instructions. Their videos on Youtube are very helpful and fun for the cook in the house!

I have been having fun practicing on my new Grill Grate. I bought it for my PK grill. Fits perfect. But I have used it on my Weber kettle and my Weber gasser too. Perfect sear marks and I've flipped it over and seared burgers on the flat side. Nice! I considered this purchase for about a year before I ordered. I wish I had bought them earlier!!

I have a built in BBQ that has a messy grill. Replacement costs were out of the ballpark. I ordered GrillGrates and use them on top of my old beat up grates and have restored my love of backyard BBQ.

The Grill grates are the best on the market. No more flare ups when your trying to sear your steaks. The beautiful grate lines left on the steak are restaurant quality. I highly recommend this product.

They work great on a charcoal fed grill but the Traeger will only heat up to 380 deg. Very disappointed with the Traeger, Brad here- your Traeger should reach 450F on its own. GG will focus and conentrate that heat up the rails for nice sear and sizzling in the valleys. We have a lot of happy Traeger customers. One of us will reach out to you William.
