Used the Jack Daniels pellets today on my gas grill and could not believe how much smoke these pellets put out from a 12 in tube. The pork butt tasted great and I never would have believed I would be able to get such a great some taste from a gas grill. I'll be ordering many more bags of different flavors.

Used the 12 inch for the 1st time today on my Weber gas grill and cooked a pork butt. Product does everything it's advertised to do. Why buy a separate smoker when you can do it all with gas?? I used the Jack Daniels pellets and will be ordering more of those along with several more flavors all from Grill Grates. Great company!! Wife said the pork tacos were Amazing!!!

From the last two years, I stopped to use my Nexgrill bbq. Burner was dead, grill peeled so I was discouraged about my bbq. Two weeks ago, I seen a review about Grillgrate, I was curious and everything presented was well designed and seem very efficient. So I ordered new burners on Amazon, bought a complete replacement kit from Grillgrate, clean my bbq (Thanks to me to have bought a complete stainless bbq 10 years ago). Today, I just finished the cleaning and I cooked my first mega steak on my old like brand new bbq with Grillgrate: AMAZING. I removed the searing burner and replace if by a traditional burner. That give to me a more substantial cooking space and you can trust me, the Grillgrate is perfect to sear the meat and cook it. Finally, the Grillgrate configuration with the grate tool is perfect to handle all the food carefully.

I bought this sear grate for my Rec Tec RT-700 pellet Smoker. I've used it to sear both tri-tips and T-bone steaks, Does an outstanding job. Very well made and will last a lifetime. Two thumbs up!

Thermometer is easy to use. Sure beats the guess work of long to grill a steak etc. using a rule of thumb based on thickness and how well it should be done (medium rare etc.)

I purchased these grates to replace the original grates that came with my Tec grill. The original Tec grates basically sucked. Loved the grill, hated the grates. Fixed that problem with GrillGrates. The design of the GrillGrates allow my infrared burners to get super hot by trapping the heat below the grates while preventing flare ups because of the design with the GrillGrates. They GrillGrates also gave great sear marks on my steaks and chicken. I strongly recommend this product to all of the owner of Tec grills that do not have the new infrared glass shields.

It filled in nicely now the grill cooking surface is all grill grate no flare ups.Makes my small two burner gas grill a steak cooking machine!

Excellent Customer Service on a FedEx shipping issue. Experienced problems with our local FedEx delivery service. Contacted Grill Grates about the problem. Tammy had their FedEx salesperson call me to help resolve the issue. Also offered the option of shipping future orders USPS. In addition, she arranged a credit for the shipping costs. The Grill Grates did produce the best grilled chicken ever. The breasts were tender and cooked evenly. However, because of the design of the Q100 and these grates, they must be used on top of the original grate; they will not work to replace the original grate. So when placed on top of the original grate they tend to move around, especially the sections on the far right and far left. You can work with the movement while cooking, but it really hinders scraping/cleaning the grill afterwards. Brad here- once you cook a bit on them the hinges will firm up and no more sliding pieces. TIP on cleaning flip them over on your Q and run on low for 10 mins or so- will ash them off nicely.

I thought if they just cleaned the rails some I would be OK with that. I barely heated the grill and then used them. Boy, do they work well--really got the surfaces clean.

There are other pellets out there for sure. but these are the highest quality pellets you can buy plain and simple. And, GrillGrate.com has the best selection and prices you will find on this fine product. Highly recommended!!!

Now I have a collection of these great grilling accessories. Because I have a gas grill I depend on these to put the smoke to everything from (cold smoking) cheese, to chops & steaks and of course my Thanksgiving turkey! Highly recommended!

I wasn't sure that the grill grates could do all that they said but I reluctantly bought them. I have cooked on them about 10 times now and love them they do exactly what they say and have given me 1 more option in using a pellet fed grill. One of the best purchases I have made for my BBQ and SCA team
