This product works 100% better than the stock rack. they only thing I have to learn is the food cooks differently. so it is about timing now. don't have to worry about the flare-ups.

My Weber grill burners run E/W, so I bought the longest grate available and cut it into 4 pieces. I invert this over one of the burners and now I have a 6" length, 4 panel wide "sear" plate.

I tossed a whole chicken on my grill and used the six inch A-Maze-n -tube. It produced smoke for over two hours.I am really pleased how simple it is to use and get great smoke through out the meat.

Purchased the grill grates a couple of weeks ago and what a difference it makes in the flavour of the food. Have tried Shrimp, a beef roast a whole chicken and all turned out flaverfull and moist. I highly recommend.

Did both sections of a 2 section grill, one gas, one charcoal. Both work great. Only suggestion for improvement was custom cut was a little out of square and not deburred very well

Easy installation. Best way to clean GrillGrate. Unscrew the old and screw on the new.

I've used grill grates for years on my previous Weber Silver B. I've also given them as gifts to my sons. Once you've used them, you'll wonder why anyone would grill without them.

I had a pellet fired grill unit that was basically useless with the factory cast iron grids. After some thought and research, I bit the bullet and bought a 6 panel full width set and 2 filler panels. I will tell anybody who is a non believer or has doubts about these grates, DON'T buy anything else!!!! These are the best addition to any cooker you own! Don't waste your money on any other grill grates other than these, I would give this product a 10 star rating!!! As for customer service' Edna was the best when it came to any questions about the grates or any other issues you may have! And last of all, MADE IN AMERICA!!!!!! Way to go, customer satisfied and then some! Thanks Jim- We love our EDNA! Seniors at your service!

I've only grilled a few times but it works well. I had to trim 1/2" from the raised grill so my grill top would close. Also I should have ordered the custom size. It fits my grill but when the grates expand they buckle in the center. It will be an easy fix. Just have to grind off a little from the ends. Brad here Lee- GrillGrates do expand some - sounds like you have it under control! Enjoy!

GrillGrates is a must no more flame over the grill and steaks!!!!!!!!! got a weber performer 21"inch kettle you can get 3 13.75inch combination or what I got is the 18.5 inch jumbo joe grillgrates + 1 costum gap panel. I'm gonna try to get another 13.75 grate see if it will fit then I may not need the gap panel.

Worked exactly as advertised. Grilled chicken leg quarters first. Usually a lot of flareups, burning, charring, etc. Flareups gone. Even heat throughout. Great grill marks. A must have!

I already have a set for my large big green egg, then for my birthday I got a mini max big green egg. I was worried how the grillgrates would fit but they are great. For dinner tonight I cooked a 4 pound spatchcock chicken and it fit perfectly. There was even room for a vadalia onion in foil. Love my grillgrates.

Replaced my cast iron grates. I am more impressed with grillgrates every time I fire up my grill.

I made the mistake of not reading all of the specs on this product. i thought I was ordering replacement grill grates. I have grates that I ordered to fit on my Weber 1000 already. The problem with them is it requires you to clean both the cast iron grate that comes with the Weber and the grill grates. Brad here- we do have a no questions asked return policy. GrillGrates do sit on top of the Q grids- but I would not expect the old grids to see much in the way of cleaning needs once you have GrillGrates on top. Replaced my original grates with these for my Char Griller Duo 5050 gas grill. After seasoning we did burgers. They came out perfect with no charing. The heat was much more even with this product. Definitely made my gas grill better than new. I did have to trim them to slope the fins back to prevent interference with the lid.

I'm sure the bag would be a great addition to someone who is going to transport the grates but for most of us they will remain on the grill. If a 'free' gift is given with order then I think the grate valley brush would be better idea and more useful to care for the grates. Maybe I can trade the bag in for the brush.....Oh Well it was a thought.

If you own a pellet grill these are a must have. I purchased two to test them out, then I purchased two more so I could cover the whole grill. The sear they put on meat is like what I get from a charcoal grill, but they don't dry out the meat nearly as much. I use them all the time.
