1
cups
Smooth Tomato Sauce
.3
cups
Soy Sauce
4
tsp
Honey or Agave Nectar
.5
tsp
Finely Chopped Garlic
.75
tsp
Finely Chopped Ginger
Sliced green onions, sesame seeds and ranch dressing, for serving and dipping
Directions
Step 1
Combine tomato sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger in a small bowl and whisk to combine into your marinade. Pour 1 cup marinade into a large baking dish.
Step 2
Add the chicken and then turn and toss to coat.
Step 3
Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Cover and refrigerate the remaining marinade for later.
Step 4
The next day, remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
Step 5
Warm your GrillGrates to a medium heat, with the rails up.
Step 6
Grill your chicken until juices run clear. This should take about 15-20 minutes. Turn and baste the drumsticks and baste as needed with the remaining marinade.
Step 7
To serve, sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds. Dip into ranch if desired and enjoy!
