Corn is the quintessential summer side dish, especially when it's in season - there is nothing better! Linda O. (aka “Mama Shed”) shared this nice twist on grilled corn. It is quick and easy and the taste is out of this world.
Ingredients
Servings
1
ears Fresh Local Corn, husked
Mayonnaise (we LOVE Dukes)
Directions
Step 1
Shuck corn completely.
This recipe is all about the "Slather, Season and Roll!!"
Step 2
Slather the corn in mayo.
Step 3
Sprinkle with AlbuKirky Seasoning Green Chile Rub.
Step 4
Set grill to Medium (400°F).
Step 5
Place corn onto the grates. We recommend sitting them parallel with the valleys to keep them from rolling.
Step 6
Roll 3-4 times over the course of 15 minutes.
Step 7
I tried this recipe for the very first time yesterday evening on my 2008 Weber Genesis with the Grill Grates. I like mayo but was concerned the May would be overwhelming, somehow. MAN-O-MAN, was I ever wrong! I slathered 4 ears of corn with Hellmann’s mayonnaise and applied Famous Dave’s Country Roast Chicken Seasoning rub. W-O-W! I’ve never eaten corn that tasted so good! Juicy to no-end and flavor out-of-this-world! We didn’t even have the need to apply butter. That’s how juicy and flavorful this recipe turned out (and not the faintest hint of mayo). AAA+ rating. THIS is how I’m going to grill COTC from here-on-in.
