Your Grill, But Better. As opposed to traditional grill surfaces that merely just hold the food above the heat source, GrillGrates concentrate heat through the patented raised rail design cooking food faster and more evenly. GrillGrate’s air flow vents and flat side work together to trap grease, prevent charring, and block those pesky flare-ups that tend to engulf and dry out food. When we say better, juicier food every time – we mean it! It is central to the innovative design of this grate. The sizzling-hot valleys vaporize drippings and juices, retaining moisture and enhancing flavor.

Love the consistent heat dispersion across the entire surface – or section, if you so desire. The fat run-off and sizzle process add to the quality of the food flavor. Still have to watch out for grease fires – not sure there are fewer versus using standard grates.
The big benefit is knowing that the surface temperature is the same from one side to the other.
All that’s left for Grill Grates to do is to make these out of highly rust resistant stainless steel instead of aluminum.

Fit great. If you had a set, you’ll always have a set. If you haven’t tried them, these are by far the best accessory to any grill I have ever purchased.

I would recommend this product for natural gas grills. I have always had issues creating a good sear w/o overcooking my meats. With Grillgrates; I am able to obtain a great sear and not overcook.

My Genesis 400 series came with SS grates. I used them for a couple of weeks and realized I did not care for them. I have used Webers’s enameled grates on a past weber and I preferred them. Prior to ordering the Weber product, I researched other options and came across Grillgrates. I read all the positive reviews and ordered them. The set arrived in a timely fashion and they fit very well on my grill. The gap panel was used to fill in the far left side of the grill. My first use was cooking up some Rib Eyes and I do admit the cooking was more even, no flareups and did in fact heat up faster than the grates that came with my grill. I have used the grillgrates only a few times, but I can see it is an improvement over the stock grates. So far , I am happy, but I will reserve final judgement after using them for a few months.

This is my second set for a 2nd grill I have. The first set of Grill Grates were a gift from my daughter and after several months of usage I am a strong “believer”. I think they are a wonderful upgrade to both my 3 and 4 burner Weber Grills. We grill all our meats, seafood and most vegetables 5 to 6 nights a week all year long and these grates give me an even heat distribution that results in a great sear, food cooked more evenly all over the grill and it cooks at a much lower heat. Now, instead of 500 to 700 degrees I do the same thing at 300 degrees and with fewer burners. We have our grates split with the flat side up on 1/2 of the grill. The grates seems to be to be a little expensive but they are amazing and I do recommend them.
