Great product….Great product!!!! Beautifully designed and manufactured. That spatula that comes with a set is to die for. Allows lifting meats and turning them easily. Very high quality tools across the board. The flavor delivered to the meats cooked on the GRATE are just unbelievable. You’ve got one heck of a product. I added the fifth panel to my originally ordered four panel set to cover the entire width of my grill. I’ve also cooked using the reverse smooth side of the grates. Nice dual function depending on what is being grilled. You got a winner. Love my set.

I ordered the grillgrates for my Green Mountain pellet grill as a set of 2 then ordered a 1 additional grate to make it a set of 3. They made the grill much better to cook and seer steaks. They work great. I now have 2 grills with grillgrates. Both grills work great. I will put them on every grill I buy from now on.

I recently purchased an M-Grills/Texas C4 Portable Grill, which is fairly new to the market. Since I have a set of Grill Grates for every other grill I own – 8 at last count – I decided to get a set for this new addition to the “family”. I needed the overall maximum size of the grate to be 11.5″ x 6.75″ (did I mention this grill is SMALL ?) so I knew there would be some down-sizing involved. Not a problem, as I have the tools needed for the job – I just needed the material to work with. The single full size panel isn’t wide enough to cover the width of this grill, so I also ordered the 12″ Gap Panel at the same time. Together, they cover the entire surface area of my little C4. I altered the grates by cutting .5″ off one end, and removing the interlock strips from the outer edges when locked together. This made for an exact perfect fit, and I am extremely pleased at both how they turned out and how well they grill ! Like I said, these are not my first set of Grill Grates, and certainly won’t be my last. I LOVE THEM !
Side note – Even though I’ve never used their service, I understand Grill Grates can & will custom cut their grates to length only – not width. Since I needed to alter mine for this project in both directions, I chose to do it all myself. If length had been the only issue, I would have let them take care of that for me. Give them a call, you won’t be disappointed. Great people, great service, great product !
