Have had my eye on GrillGrates for a long time and finally pulled the trigger. Couldn’t be happier. They don’t literally eliminate all flare-ups, because fat can pool in the slots between the ridges and ignite, but that’s uncommon—it only happened the first time I used them, so maybe a seasoning issue.
The grill marks are the best you’ll find outside of bare cast iron, and the griddle feature is an awesome option to have at your disposal. Also has had the additional benefit of helping my grill preheat faster. Maybe because they trap heat better than an open set of grates? Highly recommended; will always use these on my grills now.
