I never intentionally ate a beet, I admit it and even blogged about it. My wife loves them so it was only a matter of time. I was surprised that I actually liked them and we’ve grilled them 100's of times since.

medium sized beets

olive oil

freshly cracked black pepper

kosher salt
Directions
Step 1
Peel the beets ( you may want to wear food handling gloves so your fingers don't get stained red).
Step 2
Cut the beets into half inch thick slices and place in mixing bowl.
Step 3
Add the olive oil, black pepper and kosher salt and toss.
Step 4
Preheat grill to 400F at the GrillGrate surface. Placed the beets on the grill and cook for 25-30 minutes turning every 8-10 minutes.
